I have always been baking since I was a little and experimenting on making desserts more healthy and delicious. I enjoyed making raw food desserts, vegan treats, and grain free cakes. This love of baking continued to grow as I was able to provide desserts to family members and friends with food allergies and intolerances.
Star Ledger Home Chef of the Year 2014
I competed and won the Star Ledger Home Chef for the dessert category in 2014. My vegan chocolate mojito cupcake with chocolate ganache and mojito buttercream took the icing on the cake and came in first place against a number of other contestants.

Grain free vs Gluten Free
I bake both grain free and gluten free foods in a gluten free commercial kitchen in Manasquan, NJ. Gluten free means that there is no gluten in the product and instead uses a combination of rice flour, xantham gum, tapioca starch, and other similar items to replace flour.
Grain free baked goods use almonds, coconut, cassava, or tiger nut flour to replace flour. Grain free typically also uses honey or maple syrup to sweeten the foods, making them free of refined sugars.
I believe that food must nourish our bodies and our souls. As an occupational therapist, I also have a strong personal commitment to educating and creating a community for people with food allergies and intolerances. I want everyone to feel included, empowered, and educated about the choices they have to live their best life. Food has the power to heal us when we are eating the right foods for our body. All of our products are gluten free.
All of our products are dairy free. We use palm shortening, coconut oil, earth balance butter, avocado oil, olive oil, or vegetable oil. We also use coconut milk and almond milk. The kitchen is not a dairy free facility so there is a risk of contamination.
Some of our products are grain free, which means we use almond flour, coconut flour, cassava flour, or tiger nut flour. These “flours” are very nutritious
Some of our products are egg free, making them vegan since we also do not use dairy. We are not an egg free facility.
